"See a drone and die" — that is the kind of campaign announced by a military brigade in the Pokrovsk direction, says the 3rd Operational Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine (NGU) "Spartan."

Fighters of the 3rd Operational Brigade of the NGU "Spartan," named after Colonel Petro Bolbochan, are holding back Russian forces in the Pokrovsk direction.

The "Spartan" Brigade offers Russians an indefinite campaign in the Pokrovsk direction: "See a Ukrainian drone and die. For group 'tours,' special bonuses are possible — an incendiary artillery show," the soldiers wrote under a video.

They also noted that the effect of an "unexpected encounter" for the Russians is guaranteed.

"The package includes munition drops and FPV drones. But which exact drone shows up is always a 'surprise' for Russians," the brigade said in a statement.

Russian losses in the war

Total combat losses of Russian forces since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine until today, June 1, exceed 988,000 personnel.

As a reminder, just on May 31, Russian forces lost more than 1,200 soldiers.

At the same time, Ukrainian forces destroyed five tanks, four infantry fighting vehicles, 52 artillery systems, one multiple launch rocket system, 151 operational-tactical level drones, three missiles, 127 vehicles, and one special enemy vehicle.

Notably, Nazar Voloshyn, spokesperson of Khortytsia Operational-Strategic Group, told RBC-Ukraine about the monthly losses of Russian forces in eastern Ukraine over the past five months.

Meanwhile, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine released a frontline update as of 4:00 PM Kyiv time, covering all directions.
