Russia's losses in Ukraine as of June 1: +1,230 troops, 52 artillery systems

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has updated the data on Russian losses in the war. In recent days alone, Russian invaders have lost 1,230 personnel killed and wounded on the front line.
In total, the overall combat losses of Russian forces in the war against Ukraine from February 24, 2022, to June 1, 2025, are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 988,560 (+1,230) Russian troops were eliminated
- tanks - 10,872 (+5);
- troop-carrying AFVs - 22,656 (+4);
- artillery systems - 28,527 (+52);
- MLRS - 1,401 (+1);
- anti-aircraft systems - 1,173 (+1);
- aircraft - 372;
- helicopters - 336;
- UAV operational-tactical level - 38,366 (+151);
- cruise missiles - 3,268 (+3);
- warships/boats - 28;
- submarines - 1;
- vehicles and fuel tanks - 50,325 (+127);
- special equipment - 3,903 (+1).
Situation on the front lines
As a reminder, on May 31, 2025, Russian forces significantly intensified their activity along the entire front line. A total of 141 combat engagements were recorded, along with numerous missile and air strikes, as well as the widespread use of kamikaze drones.
The most intense fighting over the past 24 hours took place in the Pokrovsk, Lyman, Kupiansk, Kursk, and Toretsk sectors.
