Ukrainian Armed Forces update on Tavria direction: Russian losses

In the last 24 hours, on December 8, our forces took down 396 Russian militants in the Tavria direction. Additionally, 11 military vehicles were successfully neutralized, the press center of the Defense Forces of the Tavria direction reports.
During the day, the enemy:
- conducted 56 combat engagements;
- carried out 498 artillery barrages.
Avdiivka direction
Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully repelled 35 enemy attacks in the areas east of Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, Avdiivka, Tonenke, and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region.
Maryinka direction
Our defenders repelled 24 attacks in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Pobeda, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region.
Shakhtarsk and Zaporizhzhia directions
The Defense Forces repelled all attacks by the enemy, who tried to regain their lost ground in the areas west of Verbove in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Achievements of Ukrainian soldiers
"On the Melitopol direction, the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to actively inflict casualties on the occupying forces in manpower and equipment, exhausting the enemy along the entire front line," the press service writes.
During the day, the military eliminated 396 terrorists and destroyed 11 units of enemy equipment, including:
- 3 tanks;
- 7 BBM;
- 1 UAV.
"Also, 1 ammunition depot was destroyed. Another 6 units of enemy equipment were damaged," the press service adds.
Losses of Russia in the war
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces, during the past day, December 6, Ukrainian soldiers eliminated another 900 occupiers. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Russia has lost 338,120 troops.
