Ukrainian Armed Forces destroy Russian landing ship Novocherkassk in Crimea
The defense forces have destroyed a large landing ship, Novocherkassk, in the port of the occupied Feodosia, according to the commander of the Ukrainian Air Force, Mykola Oleshchuk.
"And Russia's fleet is diminishing! This time, following the flagship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, the cruiser Moskva, a large landing ship, Novocherkassk, is heading our way," the message states.
The commander also posted a video of the fire in the city's port.
Explosions in Crimea
On the night of December 26, powerful explosions were reported in the port of Feodosia. Russian media claimed it was the work of air defense forces. The Telegram channel Krymskyi Veter reported that a ship, which brought Shahed drones from Iran, was attacked.
Explosions are becoming more frequent in Crimea. Ukrainian defenders have carried out dozens of operations on the peninsula and in the Black Sea, targeting and destroying Russian bases, depots, and ships.
Specifically, on the morning of December 24, a powerful explosion was reported in Sevastopol. Witnesses mentioned hearing a sound resembling that of a missile before the explosion.
Additionally, on December 20, news of a powerful explosion in the area of Chornomorske in western Crimea became known. At that time, it was reported to have hit the center of the long-range space communications of the Russian Aerospace Forces.
