On the night of March 18, Russian terrorists attacked Ukraine with Shahed attack drones. The Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed 17 units of the drones, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.

At night, the Russians attacked the Kharkiv region with five S-300/S-400 anti-aircraft guided missiles, two Kh-59 guided missiles in the Sumy region, and 22 Shahed-type attack drones. The areas where the drones were launched were Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Russia.

"Anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force and the Ground Forces, mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, and electronic warfare equipment were involved in repelling the air attack," the Ukrainian Air Force says.

As a result of combat operations, 17 Shaheds were shot down in Kyiv, Poltava, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Dnipro, Vinnytsia, Zaporizhzhia and Rivne regions.

At night, Russia attacked a fire station in the Kharkiv region. One casualty was reported. The strike damaged the building of the fire station: windows, doors, gates, the roof, and the facade were damaged. In addition, four fire and rescue vehicles were damaged.

There were 11 rescuers on duty at the fire station, one of whom suffered an arm injury. He was a rescue driver from a local fire and rescue unit and received first aid on the spot.
