A mobile firing group of a tactical aviation brigade shot down 2 Russian Shaheds in one anti-aircraft battle, the West Air Command of the Ukrainian Air Force reports.

The anti-aircraft gunners demonstrated high performance in repelling a massive Russian air strike. In fact, within 2 minutes, they shot down 2 Shaheds - the weapon of this group is a ZU-23-2 anti-aircraft mount.

2 more Russian attack drones were hit by this group with concentrated fire, together with other mobile fire groups working in nearby positions.

"100 23-millimeter rounds of ammunition were used to hit 4 targets. We worked precisely and without fuss. For us, repelling drone attacks is a regular combat job. This is not the first time we have done it. We have a lot of destroyed Russian drones on our collective combat record. But this is the first time we have shot down so many targets in one battle," the anti-aircraft gunners said.

Russian air attacks

Last weekend, the Russian military launched 3 massive combined attacks on Ukraine. In particular, on the night of May 26, Russia fired cruise missiles from Tu-95MS bombers and launched over 300 Shahed drones at Ukraine.
