On August 29, a dozen Russian attack drones were destroyed in the Kyiv area during a Russian attack. Not a single drone reached its target, according to the Kyiv City Military Administration.

The air alert in Kyiv was declared twice. In total, it lasted almost six hours.

"Ukrainian Air Defense Forces shot down about a dozen Russian drones," the statement says.

The Kyiv City Military Administration reports that there were no direct Russian drone strikes in Kyiv - none of Russia's attack drones reached their target.

Russian drone attack on Ukraine

On the night of August 29, Russia attacked Ukraine with drones. Ukrainian air defense was operating in several regions. In particular, there were several explosions in Kyiv due to air defense operations.

There were no strikes in Kyiv, but the wreckage of downed Shaheds fell in three districts of Kyiv. In the Holosiivskyi and Dniprovskyi districts, the wreckage fell on the territory of residential buildings, and in the Desnianskyi district on a private house.

In Cherkasy, a fire broke out at a private enterprise due to the fall of debris from downed drones. In addition, Kharkiv was partially without power due to Russian shelling.
