Ukraine's national team has claimed its fourth gold medal at Euro 2025 in diving, currently taking place in Antalya, Türkiye. Kseniia Bailo and Kyrylo Boliukh became champions in the mixed synchronized 10-meter platform event, successfully defending the title they won at the previous European championship, according to the official Facebook page of the Ukrainian Diving Federation.

How the competition unfolded

Bailo and Boliukh delivered a confident performance. After the first two dives with a difficulty coefficient of 2.0, the Ukrainian pair took the lead, scoring 98.40 points. However, on their third dive (3.0), they lost the top position to the German team.

The two final dives, both with the highest difficulty level (3.2), proved decisive — the Ukrainian duo earned 73.92 points for each. Thanks to a brilliant final dive, Bailo and Boliukh reclaimed first place, finishing the competition with a total score of 308.34 points — 9.60 points ahead of the Italian pair.

Euro 2025, mixed synchronized 10m platform diving

  • Ukraine (Kyrylo Boliukh / Kseniia Bailo) – 308.34 points

  • Italy (Riccardo Giovannini / Sarah Di Maria) – 298.74

  • Germany (Luis Sanchez / Pauline Pfeif) – 297.00

Particularly noteworthy is another success for Bailo, an experienced athlete in this discipline. At the 2021 European Championships, she won gold for Ukraine with Oleksii Sereda. In 2023, she repeated that success with Kyrylo Boliukh. Last year, Bailo competed alongside European Championship debutant Mark Barsukov and claimed bronze in mixed synchronized platform diving.

Ukraine’s medals in Antalya

This is already Ukraine’s fourth medal at Euro 2025 – and all of them are of the highest caliber.

Earlier, the blue-and-yellows claimed victory in the team event mixed competition, where Sofiia Lyskun and Oleksii Sereda competed alongside Bailo and Boliukh.

That was followed by a triumph in the women’s synchronized 3-meter springboard, where Ksenia Bochek and Diana Karnafel came out on top. There was also success in the individual 10-meter platform event, where Oleksii Sereda had no equal.
