Ukraine didn't warn Trump before drone strike crippled Russia's key bombers - Axios

Today, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) conducted a special operation codenamed Spiderweb. As part of the operation, drones attacked strategic Russian bombers. Ukraine did not inform the United States about the attack in advance, reports Axios.
The large-scale attack occurred shortly before Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced he would send a delegation to Istanbul on Monday. Defense Minister Rustem Umerov will lead the delegation to negotiate a ceasefire with Russia.
Initially, Axios reported that official Kyiv had warned Washington in advance.
"Ukraine did notify the Trump administration of the attack (about the attacks on airfields -ed.) in advance," Axios quoted an unnamed Ukrainian official.
However, Axios later corrected the report, stating that Ukraine did NOT warn the Trump administration about the attacks.
