Ukraine-US talks in Saudi Arabia: Media reveals progress of ongoing negotiations

In Saudi Arabia, negotiations between Ukrainian and US delegations have been ongoing for several hours today. Representatives from both countries have been in discussions for over five hours, The Guardian reports.
According to media reports, an unnamed Ukrainian official stated that the talks about a possible partial ceasefire between Kyiv and Moscow conducted between the United States and Ukraine, are going well.
"The talks are going OK, a lot of questions have been discussed," said a senior Ukrainian official.
Negotiations in Saudi Arabia
Today, negotiations between Ukrainian and American delegations are taking place in Saudi Arabia. According to US President Donald Trump, he expects positive outcomes from the talks in Saudi Arabia. Meanwhile, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that Ukraine would have to make concessions to Russia regarding territories seized since 2014 as part of a peace agreement.
The US delegation includes Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, and National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, while Ukraine is represented by the Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak, and Defense Minister Rustem Umerov.
Additionally, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is currently visiting Saudi Arabia, but it has been stated that he will not be directly involved in the negotiations.
In February, US officials met with Russian representatives in Saudi Arabia, where their negotiations lasted about 4.5 hours.
