Ukrainian forces receive a new tracked ground drone Murakha, capable of carrying 500 kg and resisting enemy jamming, according to the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

"The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has codified and approved for use in the Armed Forces the domestically produced unmanned ground complex Murakha," the Ministry stated.

The Murakha (Ant) is a tracked robotic system designed to support units in difficult conditions — under enemy fire and in mined areas along the front line.

According to the report, thanks to its size and build, Murakha is one of the leaders in payload capacity, capable of transporting more than half a ton of cargo across dozens of kilometers.

Multiple control channels enable the drone to operate effectively even in areas exposed to enemy electronic warfare systems. Its mobility features allow it to navigate rough terrain and cross shallow water obstacles.

New drones in the service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The Ukrainian military has received several new drones in recent months. Thus, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine codified and authorized the use of the Protector unmanned ground system with a range of up to 400 km.

The Ministry of Defense has also recently authorized the use of the domestic fiber-optic unmanned aerial FPV system Svitlovod in the Armed Forces.

In addition, the Ministry of Defense reported that the Ukrainian military will use the new Volyniaka unmanned aerial system. It is currently known that the new hexacopter hunts for heavily armored targets.
