Ukraine under combined Russian attack as air defenses intercept multiple targets

On the night of May 30, Russia attacked Ukraine with an Iskander-M ballistic missile, six X-101 cruise missiles, and 290 strike drones. Air defense forces managed to shoot down most of the enemy targets.
From evening until morning, Russian forces attacked with an Iskander-M ballistic missile launched from the Bryansk region, six X-101 cruise missiles from the Vologda region, as well as 290 strike UAVs, including Shahed-type drones (including jet-powered versions), Gerbera, Italmas, and decoy drones of the Parody type, launched from directions including Bryansk, Kursk, Millerovo, Oryol, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, as well as Chauda in temporarily occupied Crimea.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare and unmanned systems подразделs, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.
As of 09:00, preliminary data shows that air defense shot down or suppressed 284 targets: 5 X-101 missiles and 279 enemy UAVs of various types over the north, south, center, and east of the country.
Nine strike drones were recorded hitting seven locations, and debris was reported falling in ten areas.
In addition, two enemy missiles (one cruise and one ballistic) did not reach their targets; information is being clarified.
"The attack is ongoing, with several enemy drones still in Ukrainian airspace. Follow safety rules," the Air Force warned.
Shelling of Ukraine
It should be recalled that last night the enemy carried out a massive drone attack on the Shostka community in the Sumy region. Some of the enemy UAVs were destroyed by the Defense Forces.
Also on the evening of May 29, Russians once again launched a drone attack on the Poltava district. As a result of the strike, damage was recorded and people were injured.
