Attacks on the North
Russian forces continue to systematically attack Ukraine's northern regions, and the Sumy region is no exception. Alongside the escalation on the front line, the enemy continues to inflict damage on the region's civilian population.
It is worth recalling that Russian forces recently launched another drone attack on communities in the Sumy region. Some of the drones were shot down, but others reached their targets, damaging homes and infrastructure.
Earlier, it was also reported that Russia carried out a massive strike on the Sumy region, killing several people and injuring more than 10 others.
Shortly before that, drones in the Sumy region killed a truck driver and a motorcyclist. The enemy deliberately targeted civilian vehicles, resulting in tragic consequences.
