On Thursday, November 13, Ukraine expects another tranche of €6 billion from the European Union, according to a statement from the Chair of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Budget Issues, Roksolana Pidlasa.
A lawmaker spoke about the results of talks with the EC FIN delegation (the European Commission directorate responsible for ERA loans and the reparation loan).
"On the positive side, we expect the next tranche of direct budget support to arrive as planned, approximately on Thursday. This concerns €4.1 billion under ERA loans and €1.9 billion under the Ukraine Facility," the statement said.
Pidlasa emphasized that, with the tranche’s arrival, there are no risks regarding the financing of military and socio-humanitarian expenditures.
"Regarding the reparation loan – work is ongoing, but a political decision from the European Council is needed," she added.
The lawmaker noted that Ukraine will need new assistance from the European Union by the end of the first quarter of 2026, primarily, Pidlasa stressed, to fund non-military expenditures.
According to her, discussions in Brussels on providing the reparation loan will be accompanied by conditions for continuing and strengthening reforms.
Last month, the European Commission transferred the ninth tranche of macro-financial aid to Ukraine, amounting to €4 billion. This brings the total EU support since the start of the full-scale war close to €178 billion.
In March, the Council of the European Union approved aid to Ukraine of €3.5 billion ($3.81 billion) under the Ukraine Facility program.
