Ukraine to produce tens of thousands of drones monthly by year-end

Ukraine plans to produce tens of thousands of drones per month. These production rates are expected by the end of 2023, as Ukraine's Minister for Strategic Industries, Oleksandr Kamyshin, says at a briefing at the NATO-Industry Forum in Stockholm.
The minister did not disclose the exact number of drones currently produced in Ukraine each month but mentioned it as "a few thousand units."
By the end of the year, it will be tens of thousands per month. This is something we have significantly increased much faster than conventional military equipment," he said.

Kamyshin stated that Ukraine had significantly increased its production of munitions, but this was insufficient to meet the needs of Ukrainian soldiers.
A joint venture was recently established between the Ukrainian Defense Industry and the German defense conglomerate Rheinmetall to maintain and repair equipment provided to Ukraine by Western allies.
