Ukraine strikes Russian oil facilities 800 miles from border

Last night, Ukrainian defenders once again reached deep into Russian territory, from the Rostov Region to Udmurtia, 1,300 kilometers from the border with Ukraine, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Where Ukrainian defenders struck
Overnight, Ukrainian long-range strikes hit three regions of Russia at once.
- In the Rostov region, an export terminal located approximately 250 kilometers from the front line was struck.
- In the Yaroslavl region, oil facilities were targeted.
- An oil facility was also struck in the Udmurt Republic—1,300 kilometers from Ukraine’s state border.
According to the President, these strikes are part of a long-range operations plan aimed at reducing Russia’s ability to finance the war.
"Through our responses, we are bringing the war back to Russia so that, ultimately, a dignified peace has a chance," Zelenskyy notes.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke about the Kremlin leader’s new plans for mobilization. According to him, Putin intends to mobilize between 300,000 and 500,000 people following the elections to the Russian State Duma, tentatively scheduled for late September or early October.
The Defense Intelligence of Ukraine (HUR) destroyed a launcher and radar of an S-400 air defense system in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
Intelligence operatives set the equipment ablaze right at its combat position on the night of July 26.
