Ukraine strikes Russian drone launch sites in Donetsk and Crimea

On August 31 and overnight into September 1, Ukraine's Defense Forces struck several Russian military facilities, from Crimea to Russia's rear regions, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Strikes on Crimea and the Donetsk region
In the city of Donetsk and in Hvardiiske, in temporarily occupied Crimea, Ukrainian units struck sites used to store, prepare, and launch attack drones. Russian forces launch drones against Ukraine from these locations.
A Russian communications hub in Myrne, occupied Crimea, was also disabled.
What was hit in Zaporizhzhia and Luhansk regions
In Polohy, Zaporizhzhia region, a Russian command and observation post was struck. It is one of the facilities from which Russian forces coordinate the actions of their units in this sector.
In Verkhnokamianka, Luhansk region, Ukrainian forces struck an area where Russian military equipment was concentrated.
Russia's rear regions were also hit. In Borisovka, Belgorod region, a fuel and lubricant depot used by Russian forces to supply their equipment was destroyed.
The extent of the damage inflicted on Russian forces is currently being assessed.
Separately, the General Staff reported confirmation of the results of a previous strike. According to the analysis, on August 30, Ukrainian units struck a drone launcher and a UAV storage site.
Both facilities were located near Tsymbulova in Russia's Oryol region.
The day before, on August 31, Ukraine's Defense Forces had already struck a radar station and a command-and-control vehicle of an S-400 surface-to-air missile system in Russia's Bryansk region.
Ukrainian forces also destroyed a Russian communications hub in the Belgorod region and struck an enemy drone control point near Huliaipole.
Meanwhile, on the morning of the same day, drones attacked a Wildberries logistics center in Yekaterinburg, after which fires broke out at the facility.
This is already the eighth of the company's ten largest warehouses in Russia to have been put out of operation since mid-July due to Ukrainian strikes.
