Drones strike Wildberries warehouse in Russia's Yekaterinburg

On the morning of August 31 in Yekaterinburg, drones attacked the Wildberries logistics center. After the drones crashed and their debris fell onto the facility's grounds, fires broke out, according to the Exilenova+ Telegram channel.
Drone crashed near warehouse
An alert was issued in Yekaterinburg that morning due to the threat of a drone attack. According to Denis Pasler, governor of the Sverdlovsk region, the drones and their debris reached residential buildings and the logistics center.
Fires broke out on the premises. Emergency services are on the scene, and the evacuation is ongoing. According to preliminary reports, there are no fatalities or injuries.
Footage from the scene later appeared online. It shows that one of the drones crashed just a few meters from the Wildberries warehouse.

Russian authorities report that drones and their debris struck several facilities in Yekaterinburg simultaneously. The circumstances and extent of the damage are still being determined.
The attack occurred amid a drone alert declared in the city, which began around 7 a.m. Emergency services continue to work at the scene.

Attacks on Wildberries hubs
Since mid-July, Ukrainian strikes have brought 8 of Wildberries' 10 largest logistics facilities in Russia to a standstill. Another such incident occurred on the night of August 26, when the company's warehouse in the Tambov region was struck.
Following the attack, the logistics center ceased operations, and, according to local authorities, the complex was completely or nearly destroyed by fire. Thus, it became the eighth major Wildberries facility in Russia to go out of service since mid-July.
Shares of the Russian state-owned bank VTB fell to a record low of 49.86 rubles per share, dropping below par value for the first time. The decline came amid Ukrainian drone attacks on the logistics infrastructure of Wildberries and Ozon, with which the bank has close financial ties.
