The Ukrainian Armed Forces' unmanned systems attacked the Novokuibyshevsky and Afipsky oil refineries at night. As a result, Russia lost another 4.7% of its fuel production capacity, according to Robert Brovdi, call-sign Madyar, commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the commander of the USF, oil refining in Russia fell by 21% in the first two weeks of August. In just one night, fuel volumes fell by another 4.7%.

This is the worst indicator for the industry in recent months. It is directly related to Ukrainian drone and special forces strikes on strategic targets.

Russian plants attacked last night

Kuibyshevsky Oil Refinery (Samara Region). The plant's capacity is about 7 million tons of oil per year, which is 2.5% of Russia's total volume. It was here that the USF Bird's Sting unit (14th regiment) struck in coordination with the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces.

Afipsky Oil Refinery (Krasnodar Krai). The plant, with an annual processing capacity of 6.25 million tons of oil (2.2% of the total volume), was also attacked. The operation was carried out by fighters from the Bird's Sting unit of the SBS (14th regiment) in conjunction with the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine.

"Gasoline is becoming a scarce commodity, and gas and oil are quickly running out," Madyar emphasized.

Attacks on Druzhba

Earlier, the commander of the USF reported that 2 Russian oil refineries had been attacked in a week, as well as 2 oil pumping stations on the Druzhba oil pipeline, which connects Russia with Europe. These are the Volgogradsky and Novoshakhtinsky oil refineries.

The Unecha oil pumping station, the largest node in the Druzhba oil pipeline network, was also repeatedly attacked.

The station was completely disabled, and repairs will take at least five days. As a result, Hungary was left without Russian oil for some time and threatened to stop selling electricity to Ukraine.

The first attack on Druzhba took place on August 13. Just a few days later, on August 18, Ukrainian forces launched a new strike, this time on the Nikolskoye oil pumping station in the Tambov region of Russia. The attack caused a fire at the facility and completely halted oil pumping through the pipeline.

On August 21, drones attacked again, this time targeting the Unecha station, which supplies oil to Hungary and Slovakia. Pumping was stopped again.
