Ukrainian forces attacked the Bashneft–Novoyl oil refinery in Ufa, Russia. A fire was recorded at the facility, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It is noted that the refinery is located at a significant distance from Ukraine’s state border — about 1,400 kilometers.

What is known about the facility

Bashneft–Novoyl is one of Russia’s largest producers of high-quality lubricants, including marine, hydraulic, and motor oils. Its primary oil refining capacity is about 7 million tons per year.

The refinery is an important part of Russia’s fuel and energy sector and is used to support the needs of the Russian army. The extent of the damage is being clarified.

Other strikes on enemy targets

In recent days, Ukrainian forces also struck the Kulikovskyi training ground in temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia region and an ammunition depot in Uspenivka in the same region.

In addition, Ukrainian troops hit concentrations of enemy personnel in Kotlyne and Shandryholove in the Donetsk region, as well as Berezove in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Enemy losses are being уточнений (clarified).

Strikes deep behind Russian lines

It should be recalled that on March 10, Ukrainian forces struck a Russian military plant in Bryansk that produced control systems for various types of Russian missiles.

According to social media reports, the target was the Kremniy plant, where components for air defense systems are produced. According to the regional governor, there were casualties as a result of the strike.

At the end of February, explosions were also reported in Votkinsk, Udmurtia, followed by footage of fire and smoke at the Votkinsk plant.

Later, the General Staff confirmed that Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the Votkinsk plant with Flamingo missiles — a facility that produces intercontinental ballistic missiles and other weapons.
