Ukraine still getting air defense missiles from US despite ammo halt, Presidential Office confirms

The United States continues to supply weapons to Ukraine, including missiles for Patriot air defense systems, Mykhailo Podolyak, Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, said in a comment to the TV channel FREEDOM.
"Deliveries are ongoing as of today. It would look very strange — it would look inhumane — to stop supplying interceptor missiles, especially for Patriot systems, which clearly and significantly protect civilians across Ukraine," Podolyak said.
US support for Ukraine
Support from the United States remains one of the key pillars of international assistance to Ukraine in its war against Russian aggression. This includes weapons, equipment, financial aid, intelligence, and more. It also covers air defense systems, long-range weapons, and ammunition.
In recent months, since Donald Trump took office, Washington's rhetoric has shifted somewhat. The US is now seeking to reestablish contact with Russia and is pushing for a diplomatic resolution to the war.
Today, July 2, the media reported that the US will not deliver ammunition to Ukraine for several months. The White House explained the move as being in the national interest, based on a review of the military's readiness. Officials said this approach strengthens US combat readiness amid potential threats.
