Ukraine still faces Starlink restrictions despite Trump's claims, Zelenskyy adviser says

Restrictions on the use of the military version of Starlink remain in place in Ukraine, despite US President Donald Trump's announcement that they had been lifted, according to Dmytro Lytvyn, an adviser to the Ukrainian President.
"We see the same limit. So, for now, nothing has changed," Lytvyn writes.
He posts his comment under a report by WSJ journalist Alex Ward stating that Trump had called SpaceX founder Elon Musk and asked him to lift the restrictions on the military version of Starlink in Ukraine.
That post also noted that on Thursday, the system was operating in its usual mode.
At the same time, according to sources cited by the Associated Press, restrictions on satellite communications in Ukraine remain in effect.
According to The Wall Street Journal, Trump called Musk and asked him to lift the restrictions.
Immediately after the call, the system began operating at higher speeds.
Trump later told reporters that Musk had lifted the limits on the military version of Starlink.
He declined to comment on the call itself.
