Ukraine seeks to procure counter-drone systems from Lithuanian company: Details
Ukraine intends to purchase stationary drone countermeasure systems SkyWiper - OMNI from a Lithuanian company, according to Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Yuriy Dzhyhyr.
"Visited the Lithuanian company 'NTService'," the announcement reads.
According to him, the company manufactures anti-drone systems, including counter-drone rifles of the EDSM-4M SkyWiper type, which have been procured for the Ukrainian army since 2021.
Ukraine wants to expand cooperation.
"I discussed further cooperation with the company's management," the Deputy Minister reported.

Possibilities for procuring stationary countermeasure systems SkyWiper - OMNI and individual soldier protection systems SkyWiper - SOLO for the Ukrainian Defense Forces were also discussed.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the creation of a new alliance in the defense industry. Several arms manufacturers from various countries have already joined this initiative.
Previously, the spokesperson for the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yurii Ihnat, stated that Ukraine was in a better position regarding drones compared to Russia, particularly due to the presence of Western technologies.
