Ukraine struck an oil refinery in the Yaroslavl region of Russia, 1,000 kilometers from the front line, as well as a Tu-95MS missile carrier at the Engels airfield, according to President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

"Over the past day, warriors of our Defense Forces of Ukraine struck an oil refinery in the Yaroslavl region. The distance is 1,000 kilometers from the front line. There were also our just responses to Russia’s war in the Black Sea," the head of state notes.

The President also reports that fighters from the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) Alpha special forces unit struck a Russian Tu-95MS strategic missile carrier at the Engels airfield. He notes that it is precisely these types of aircraft that are carrying out strikes against Ukraine.

"I thank all our warriors for their accuracy! All of this is a response to their strikes. Russians must feel what their war is like," Zelenskyy emphasizes.
