The Russian army attacked the Ukrainian Cabinet building for the first time on the night of September 7. Footage has emerged showing the inside of the building after the Russian strike, according to Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko on Telegram.

"Fortunately, no one was injured. The fire has been extinguished. I thank the rescuers. Russian terror will not stop the work of the government. We will restore the damage. But the lives of Ukrainians cannot be returned," she said.

During the night, four people were killed and more than 44 were injured in Ukraine due to the Russian attacks.

Svyrydenko emphasized that Russia does not want peace. The Prime Minister urged partners and all countries of the world to "turn their outrage over Russian crimes into concrete support for Ukraine. Not for the walls of this building, but to protect our people and communities across the country."

"Now is the time to act. Ukraine needs more air defense systems to protect our skies and energy infrastructure, especially as winter approaches. Increase sanctions pressure on Russia to reduce resources for its military machine. All of this is possible — the tools are in your hands," she stressed.

Russian strike on Ukraine

Last night, Russia carried out a massive attack on Ukrainian cities, launching a record 810 drones and 13 missiles.

The invaders targeted Kyiv, Kremenchuk, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, and Kryvyi Rih.

In Kyiv, residential buildings and the Cabinet of Ministers building were damaged, with a fire covering an area of 1,000 square meters.

In the Sviatoshynskyi district of Kyiv, a nine-story building was hit — killing a woman and a young child, and injuring more than 20 people.

In Kremenchuk, the enemy struck the Kriukiv bridge over the Dnipro River. Residential buildings were damaged in Odesa.

Overall, four people were killed and 44 were injured in Ukraine due to the Russian attack.
