Ukraine's PM meets with Slovak counterpart for intergovernmental consultations
Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal met with Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico. They will hold intergovernmental consultations, which will focus on discussing the roadmap for cooperation signed during the first meeting, according to Shmyhal's post on Telegram.
The parties will discuss joint infrastructure projects, economic cooperation, and energy security issues. Shmyhal noted the important role of Slovakia in importing electricity to Ukraine, emphasizing that the country has always been a reliable partner in this matter.
Other issues on the agenda include support for the peace plan of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, EU integration, demining of Ukrainian territories, humanitarian aid, and the restoration of Ukraine. Defense procurement issues will also be discussed.
Bilateral documents will be signed as part of the “new pragmatism” policy between Ukraine and Slovakia.

Intergovernmental consultations
According to the Slovak media outlet Aktuality, the meeting between Shmyhal and Fico will take place at the Verkhovyna Resort hotel complex, which is located 20 kilometers from Uzhhorod.
The parties will discuss the roadmap, a plan for joint action between Ukraine and Slovakia.
The roadmap covers cooperation in energy security, infrastructure projects, and the economy. Officials will also discuss support for Ukraine's membership in the European Union, as well as cooperation in the defense industry, demining of Ukrainian territories, humanitarian support, and the restoration of Ukraine.
In September, Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha met with Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico.
