The Ukrainian ODIN project has successfully tested and is already using the Antishaheed system to destroy enemy Shahed and Gerbera drones in the air, the drone developers reported this on Telegram.

According to the developers, high-speed interceptor drones ODIN Win Hit, their own design, are used to shoot down enemy targets.

The main technical specifications of the high-speed interceptor drone ODIN Win Hit are:

  • Airspeed:

    • cruising speed – 200–220 km/h;

    • attack speed – 280–300 km/h;

  • Total mission flight duration: 7–10 minutes;

  • Configuration options depending on the time of day:

    • "day/dusk";

    • "night."

According to the developers, the strike group ODIN Night Crew, consisting mainly of pilots from the ODIN project, is already systematically and successfully destroying enemy strike UAVs such as Shahed-136 and Gerbera in the sky over Ukraine.

The ODIN team has already begun implementing joint projects with combat brigades, adapting the Antishaheed system for use in drone countermeasure units.

The ODIN Antishaheed concept itself is a combination of proprietary engineering and software solutions, integrated into a single effective mobile air defense system.

Main advantages of the ODIN Antishaheed concept:

  • Rapid deployment of the mobile air defense system;

  • Maximum adaptability to the operating conditions of units and the flight trajectories of aerial targets;

  • Ensuring high accuracy in engaging aerial targets;

  • Moderate cost of the system (compared to existing alternative anti-drone solutions on the market).

Launch options for the high-speed interceptor drones ODIN Win Hit:

  • From a ground-based reusable mobile launch complex;

  • From a handheld reusable launch platform;

  • Air launch using a special loitering carrier platform.

Interceptor drones

On July 3, Ukraine and the American company Swift Beat signed a memorandum to expand drone production. Under this agreement, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will receive drones needed to intercept and destroy missiles.

Ukrainian forces are actively using interceptor drones to destroy Shahed drones. As of early July, this method had already brought down over a hundred enemy kamikaze drones.

According to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Ukrainian defenders continue to use interceptor drones to take down Shaheds. Hundreds of enemy targets were destroyed in just one week.
