Ukraine's last contender exits Wuhan tournament as Kichenok loses with Perez

Lyudmyla Kichenok has finished her run at the WTA 1000 tournament in Wuhan, China. In the second round of the doubles event, the Ukrainian, paired with Australian Ellen Perez, lost to their opponents from Slovakia and Great Britain.

In the second-round match, the Kichenok/Perez duo was unable to overcome Tereza Mihalikova (Slovakia) and Olivia Nicholls (Great Britain). The game lasted 1 hour and 47 minutes and ended with a score of 7-5, 2-6, 10-5 in favor of their opponents.
During the match, the Ukrainian-Australian pair hit three aces, committed six double faults, and converted four break points.

No Ukrainians left in the China tournament
Following Kichenok's defeat, no Ukrainian players remain in the Wuhan tournament. Earlier, Marta Kostyuk had also exited after losing her opening matches in both singles and doubles.
Additionally, Dayana Yastremska withdrew after the first-round singles match against Germany's Laura Siegemund.
