In the Luhansk region, a unit of Lasar’s Group of the Ukrainian National Guard destroyed 13 Russian vehicles in a single operation.
The crews of Lasar’s Group heavy bombers carried out a lightning-fast special operation deep behind enemy lines. The result: 13 units of expensive enemy equipment, prepared for attacks on Ukrainian positions, were eliminated.
Aerial reconnaissance by Lasar’s Group detected a concentration of equipment in the sectors of responsibility of Russia’s 3rd and 10th Army Corps. The enemy tried to hide artillery and command posts far behind the front line, but Ukrainian National Guard drones located the targets.
Night crews of the heavy bombers carried out a series of precision strikes, turning scarce examples of Russian weaponry into scrap.
Enemy losses
Among the destroyed equipment were some of the most dangerous systems harassing Ukrainian defenders:
- TOS-1A Solntsepyok (1 unit) and its transport-loading vehicle;
- 2S7 Pion self-propelled artillery (3 units) — powerful, large-caliber guns;
- Command and staff vehicle (1 unit) — disrupting the unit’s command system;
- Armored vehicles (7 units).
Why this matters
By destroying the charging points for the Solntsepyok systems and the artillery platoon, the intensity of shelling on the front line has significantly decreased. This directly affected the enemy’s offensive potential in two sectors of Luhansk.
“A carefully planned operation allowed us to secure our positions and eliminate equipment the enemy considered untouchable,” the unit reported.

Ukraine strikes on important military targets in Russia
The Defense Forces of Ukraine systematically use strike drones to hit important enemy military facilities both on Russian territory and in temporarily occupied areas.
For example, in the village of Pasichne in temporarily occupied Crimea, Special Operations Forces struck a location storing Iskander missile system missiles. Powerful explosions were recorded at the strike site.
It was also reported that Ukrainian Special Operations Forces carried out a precision strike on a drone storage base for Shahed drone types in temporarily occupied Donetsk.
