Ukrainian military intelligence officers struck important elements of the Russian air defense system in Donbas. Defense Intelligence of Ukraine (HUR) revealed the footage.
According to the agency, on November 29, 2025, drones belonging to the Active Operations Department of HUR once again attacked the radars and launchers of the Russian anti-aircraft missile systems in the Ukrainian Donbas.
What was hit
In just one night, the reconnaissance officers hit:
• A 9A83 launcher from the S-300V air defense missile system, which was on combat duty;
• 2 expensive 1L125 Niobium-SV radar stations.
"Such strikes significantly reduce the Russian ability to control the airspace over Donbas and create conditions for new air operations by the Ukrainian Defense Forces. The armed struggle continues," the HUR emphasizes.
Niobium-SV
This is a Russian mobile meter-range radar station designed to detect, identify, and track aerodynamic and ballistic targets, as well as to determine the sources of radio-electronic interference.
The three-coordinate radar, adopted by the Russian air defense forces in 2016, is capable of operating for long periods of time and can be deployed in about 15 minutes.
It can detect low-visibility airborne objects at a distance of up to 230 km at an altitude of 10,000 meters and up to 53 km at an altitude of 500 meters.
The station is a further development of the Russian Nebo radar family.
Other HUR operations
Earlier, as a result of regular attacks, two 48Ya6-K1 Podliot radar stations and a 9A82 launcher from the S-300V complex were destroyed.
Meanwhile, in Russian-occupied Crimea, near the city of Saky, a radar station belonging to the S-400 Triumph anti-aircraft missile system was destroyed.
Before that, Ukrainian drones from the Primary special forces unit also successfully struck the Russian S-400 air defense system in Crimea. The strike hit the control and detection radars, as well as the launcher.
