Ukraine's intelligence chief awaits arrival of F-16 jets this spring
At the Ramstein-19 meeting, purely technical issues related to F-16 fighters were discussed. The direct decision to transfer them to Ukraine has long been made, according to the Chief of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov.
According to Budanov, at Ramstein, they discussed in more detail technical issues such as the transfer and readiness of Ukraine's infrastructure for the F-16s. In addition, the readiness of the airfield base was also discussed.
"Wait - it's happening quickly, it's already in the final stage... I hope that in the spring, we will see them in the sky," says Budanov.
Transfer of F-16 to Ukraine
Back in August of last year, Denmark and the Netherlands promised to transfer 61 F-16 fighters to Ukraine.
Recently, the Netherlands stated that they planned to transfer six more aircraft than previously announced.
