Defense Intelligence of Ukraine (HUR) staged the death of Denys Kapustin, commander of the Russian Volunteer Corps, as a result of a drone strike.
"To save the life of the commander of the Russian Volunteer Corps, part of the Timur Special Forces Unit of the HUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, and to expose Russia's intelligence network, military intelligence officers carried out a complex multi-stage special operation, during which his death was staged," the post says.
Defense Intelligence of Ukraine created a video recording in which a strike drone flew into the minibus in which Kapustin was traveling, and another filmed the so-called results of the strike in the form of a burning car.
"The Russian special services that ordered the crime believed the video and paid the Ukrainian intelligence officers half a million dollars for the work, which will significantly strengthen the combat capabilities of the HUR special forces," intelligence representatives say.
