Incidentally, in June, RBC-Ukraine sources reported that Ukrainian intelligence carried out an operation in the city of Königsberg (Kaliningrad). Agents from the Defense Intelligence attacked an industrial substation.
As a result of the operation, electricity supply was completely cut off in the area housing Russian defense industry enterprises and military facilities. The damage to Russia is estimated at nearly $5 million.
According to sources, the intelligence agents drained the cooling liquid from the substation transformer and set the facility on fire. The fire seriously damaged the equipment and cut power to the nearby enterprises.
