Ukraine's General Staff shows soldiers training with Starstreak portable air defense
Ukrainian defenders are learning to operate Starstreak man-portable air defense missile systems. The UK is helping them with the training, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Such training will help the Ukrainian military defend the sky from Russian aircraft.

Starstreak
Starstreak is a British man-portable air defense system designed to protect against airborne threats. The Starstreak missile travels at a speed that is more than three times the speed of sound.
The missiles launched from Starstreak can hit the target several times thanks to a system of three dart-like munitions.
Resumption of missile production for Starstreak
Last year, The Wall Street Journal wrote that amid the war in Ukraine, the United Kingdom decided to resume production of missiles for the Starstreak air defense system.
But, according to the agency, the start of production resumption may take a long time, as such missiles are difficult to manufacture.
