Consequences of attack on Yaroslavl refinery
According to updated information, following the strike on April 26, 2026, on the oil refinery in Yaroslavl, damage to a vacuum distillation unit has been confirmed.
This facility plays a key role in the crude processing cycle.

The consequences of the strike near the Tuapse oil refinery in Russia’s Krasnodar region have also been clarified.
Following the April 20 attack, the destruction of 24 storage tanks has been confirmed, with four more damaged.
Next steps
The Defense Forces stressed that efforts to counter aggression are ongoing.
Ukrainian forces will continue taking measures aimed at stopping Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine.
Attacks on Tuapse
After a drone attack on April 16, the export-oriented Tuapse oil refinery was almost completely shut down.
A large fire at the refinery was accompanied by a dense plume of smoke that spread hundreds of kilometers and, according to observations, reached the Stavropol region.
Following the drone strikes, activity at the Tuapse port noticeably slowed, decreasing by approximately half compared to the average levels.
In the southern direction, the intensity of Russian attacks has increased, while Ukrainian forces continue to keep the situation under control and, in some areas, are regaining lost positions.
On the morning of April 27, a drone hit a transport workshop near the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant site, killing a driver.
