On the night of October 6, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the Russian Sverdlov Plant in Dzerzhinsk, Nizhny Novgorod Region, as well as the facilities of the Marine Oil Terminal in the temporarily occupied Feodosia in Crimea, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The plant in Dzerzhinsk is one of Russia's largest manufacturers of explosives.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, it has the capacity to produce almost all types of ammunition, from aircraft and artillery shells to warheads for anti-tank guided missiles and air defense warheads. Numerous explosions and a fire have been reported at the site.

In addition, the facilities of the Sea Oil Terminal JSC (Feodosia, temporarily occupied Crimea) were hit.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, this is a multifunctional complex for the transshipment of oil and oil products between railway tank cars, sea vessels, and road transport, which was used to supply the Russian army. After the strike, a large-scale fire broke out on the terminal's territory.

Also, in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea, a strike was recorded on an ammunition depot of a separate logistics battalion of the 18th Combined Arms Army of Russia. The results of the strike are still being clarified.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine emphasizes that it continues to take measures to undermine the military and economic potential of the Russian troops and force Russia to stop its armed aggression against Ukraine.

Last night, the Sverdlov Plant in the Nizhny Novgorod region of Russia was hit by drones. It is one of the largest manufacturers of explosives in Russia.
