Ukraine's Forces to deploy Liut soldier-robot on front line: What is known about it

The Ministry of Defense has codified and approved the deployment of the Liut (Fury) ground robotic system in Ukraine’s Defense Forces units. It is manufactured in Ukraine, according to the Ministry of Defense's press service.
According to the Ministry of Defense, this system is designed to perform a wide range of tasks in challenging conditions, including reconnaissance and providing fire support for Ukrainian units.
The Liut robotic system has been tested in real combat conditions. It is armed with a 7.62 mm machine gun and additional equipment that enables it to detect and engage targets both day and night.
Liut is compact enough to fit in the bed of a military pickup truck. Its silent electric engine and battery capacity allow for extended operation. The system has a high ground clearance, ensuring stable movement across rough terrain. It can operate in a wide range of temperatures.
The operator controls the system from a protected position, avoiding direct danger. Ground robotic systems' primary mission is to strengthen Ukrainian units and replace soldiers in the most hazardous areas.
Drones for the Ukrainian Armed Forces
Since the start of the full-scale war, Ukraine has increased its production of weaponry, including drones and robotic systems. As Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov stated, the military-industrial complex will ramp up arms production in 2025.
Previously, we reported that the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine codified and approved for deployment of the domestically produced Hromylo unmanned aerial system.
Additionally, the ministry has approved the deployment of the domestically developed logistics robot Zmiiy Lohistychnyi for use in the Defense Forces.
