Ukraine's Forces repel two assaults and destroy two enemy tanks in Kupiansk direction

Ukrainian soldiers repelled Russian troops who attempted twice to break through the defense positions on the Eastern front. As a result, the invading army lost both equipment and soldiers, according to the Telegram channel of the Khortytsia Operational-Strategic Grouping of Troops.
The fighters of the Achilles Separate Drone Systems Regiment, together with soldiers from the 43rd Separate Mechanized Brigade and the guards of the Burevii 1st Presidential Operational Brigade, repelled two attempts by Russian forces to storm positions on the Kupiansk direction.
In the morning, enemy infantry, supported by armored vehicles — a tank and BMP—attempted to break through the defense positions. In the afternoon, the situation repeated: the tank and BMP again tried to draw infantry into Ukrainian positions.
However, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled the invaders, the enemy’s offensive was thwarted, and Ukrainian positions were not lost.
As a result of the combat actions by Ukrainian defenders, the Russian army suffered significant losses:

2 BMPs were damaged;

2 tanks were destroyed;

4 soldiers were eliminated;

3 others were injured.

"Ukrainian defenders are holding the line, inflicting significant losses on the invaders in both manpower and equipment. All measures are being taken to prevent the worsening of the tactical situation," added the Khortytsia Operational-Strategic Grouping of Troops.
Successes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Kupiansk direction
Recently, near Kupiansk, Russian forces attempted to storm Ukrainian positions using vehicles, quad bikes, and buggies. However, fighters from the 14th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Roman the Great destroyed enemy vehicles, enemy shelters, infantry, quad bikes, buggies, and 120mm mortars.
Additionally, fighters from the Skif 5th Separate Slobozhanska Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine shattered the enemy's assault groups on the Kupiansk direction. During the operation, five invaders were injured, and one was killed.
Meanwhile, fighters from the 43rd Separate Mechanized Brigade destroyed a column of enemy paratroopers attempting to storm their positions on the Kupiansk direction. As a result of combat actions, the following were destroyed: a tank, three infantry fighting vehicles, a armored personnel carrier, a Ural truck, a quad bike, as well as a significant number of enemy assault troops.
Russian losses
Overall, over the past day, Russian invaders suffered losses of 1,350 personnel. Additionally, Ukrainian forces neutralized 13 tanks, 25 armored fighting vehicles, 31 artillery systems, two multiple rocket launchers, 28 operational-tactical drones, 15 missiles, 70 units of automotive equipment, and one piece of special equipment used by the invaders.
