Russia's losses in Ukraine as of April 7: 1,350 troops

Ukrainian defenders eliminated another 1,350 Russian invaders in a single day. As a result, the total personnel losses of the aggressor country in the war have now exceeded 925,000 military personnel, reports the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to April 7, 2025, are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 925,020 (+1,350) Russian troops were eliminated;
- tanks - 10,567 (+13);
- troop-carrying AFVs - 21,997 (+25);
- artillery systems - 25,817 (+31);
- MLRS - 1,356 (+2);
- anti-aircraft systems - 1,124;
- aircraft - 370;
- helicopters - 335;
- UAV operational-tactical level - 31,874 (+28);
- cruise missiles - 3,145 (+15);
- warships/boats - 28;
- submarines - 1;
- vehicles and fuel tanks - 43,120 (+70);
- special equipment - 3,790 (+1).
Situation on the front line
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported in its evening summary that 135 battles took place on the front since the start of the day. Military command noted that the hottest situation was observed in the Pokrovsk, Lyman, Toretsk, and Kursk directions.
Yesterday, the operators of drones from the separate unit of Ukraine's National Guard "Kryla Omegi" demonstrated their exceptional skills on the Eastern front, with a single strike destroying an enemy tank.
Additionally, on April 6, in a comment to RBC-Ukraine, spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Andrii Demchenko debunked a Russian fake claim regarding the supposed capture of the settlement of Basivka in the border area of the Sumy region.
