On the night of August 22, Ukrainian defense forces struck two targets simultaneously in the Samara region using FP-1 drones: the Novokuybyshevsk oil refinery and the Ozon logistics hub, according to Fire Point.

The Novokuybyshevsk oil refinery is one of the largest oil refineries in the region, with a capacity of approximately 8.3 million metric tons of crude oil per year.

The facility is part of Rosneft and produces gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, and other petroleum products.

The Ozon logistics hub in Chapayevsk is one of the company’s largest fulfillment centers in the Volga region. Once all phases are operational, its total area will be approximately 135,000 square meters, with a capacity of over 40 million items. The hub processes more than 215,000 orders per day.

“Two different goals—one result: pressure on Russia’s fuel and logistics infrastructure,” Fire Point noted.

On the night of August 22, Russia’s Samara region came under drone attack. In the early morning hours, drones struck an Ozon warehouse.

Also that night, the Novokuybyshevsk oil refinery, located in the Samara region, came under drone attack. A fire broke out at the facility following the strikes.
