Ukrainian defenders launch an average of up to 150 drones per day at Russia. This is several times fewer than the number of drones used by Russia, said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at a press conference in Copenhagen.

The President noted that just a year ago, Ukrainian forces didn't have the capabilities to respond to Russian strikes on civilian infrastructure. At that time, these attacks caused blackouts across Ukraine.

"Now, we can answer. And they feel our strong answers," Zelenskyy said.

He added that today, the Russian army uses 500–600 drones per day, while Ukraine uses 100–150.

He noted that Ukraine has the capacity to increase drone production, but the issue is funding. The President has already discussed this topic with partners.

With increased funding, Ukraine will be able to reach similar numbers for long-range drones, the President noted. Then there will be more questions from Russian society for their leader, Zelenskyy said.

Response to Russian terror

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy warned that Ukrainian defenders would respond to Russian strikes on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.

According to the President, Ukraine will not "endure in the dark".

Zelenskyy also noted that if Russia continues attacking Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, there will be a blackout in Moscow.
