Meeting in Washington
According to CNN sources, Vice President-elect J.D. Vance and incoming National Security Adviser Mike Waltz met with Yermak and Deputy Defense Minister for European Integration Serhii Boyev in Washington.
However, the meeting did not discuss a potential peace plan or resolve the war. Instead, Ukrainian officials sought to convey their assessment of the battlefield situation to Waltz and Vance and establish relations with them. According to one source, the Ukrainian side believes it achieved these goals and was satisfied with the meeting.
