Ukraine’s Countering Disinformation Center reports aftermath of drone attack in Poland

The head of the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council, Andrii Kovalenko, stated that in the current geopolitical situation, military support for Ukraine must be strengthened, or preparations should be made for a future war over the Baltic countries, according to his statement on Telegram.
Kovalenko emphasized that there are only two possible courses of action in Ukraine today: use force now or face the risk of a large-scale war over the Baltic states in the future.
“Either force now, not just through supporting Ukraine, or war over the Baltics in the future. There is no third option,” the expert said.
According to him, the international community must be aware of the risks facing the region and act decisively to prevent further escalation of the conflict.
Kovalenko believes that delaying decisive action could lead to larger and more dangerous consequences in the future.
What is known about the drone attack on Poland
On the night of September 10, Polish airspace was repeatedly violated by Russian Shahed drones during a large-scale strike in western Ukraine.
Polish armed forces, together with NATO, scrambled combat aircraft, including F-35 fighters, and activated air defense and radar systems to the highest state of readiness.
According to the military, several drones were shot down. The exact number has not been specified, but it is described as multiple violations of airspace.
Four airports were temporarily closed: Warsaw (Chopin and Modlin), Rzeszów-Jasionka, and Lublin - due to unplanned military activity.
