Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov is already an old man. He does not grasp the current state of affairs on the geopolitical map, according to Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council.

"Imagine, a person whose country depends on North Korea in this war tries to ‘troll’ US President Trump over the ‘50 days’ deadline. Lavrov, of course, is an old man and clearly confused about the real state of affairs on the geopolitical map, where his country has already become a tool, not a player," Kovalenko emphasized.

He added that Russia’s defeat in the war is only a matter of time. In turn, that time depends "only on the number of suicide soldiers" that Russian President Vladimir Putin will send to the war.

Lavrov’s response to Trump’s ultimatum

On July 14, US President Donald Trump stated that if Russia does not agree to a peace deal with Ukraine within 50 days, the US will impose 100% secondary tariffs against Russia.

Today, Lavrov said that Trump allegedly came under pressure from European countries and, against this backdrop, issued an ultimatum to Russia.

He clarified that Russia has supposedly already been through all this and "will manage everything."
