Ukraine's air defenses shoot down nearly 100 drones as Russian attack continues

During the day on September 29, Russia launched 112 attack drones at Ukraine, including jet-powered drones. Most of them were destroyed, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.

During the day on September 29 (from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.), Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 112 attack UAVs, including Gerbera, Banderol/Dan-T and other types of drones.
Twenty-nine of them were jet-powered, the Air Force said.
According to preliminary data, air defenses shot down or suppressed 95 UAVs during the specified period.
Eighteen of the destroyed drones were jet-powered, the Air Force clarified.
As of 7:35 p.m., several attack drones were still detected in Ukrainian airspace, the military reported.
Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that overnight on September 29, Russia launched a Zircon/Oniks anti-ship missile and two Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles at Ukraine. The enemy also attacked with 152 Shahed attack drones.
In addition, overnight on September 28, Russia launched 165 attack drones at Ukraine, 79 of which were jet-powered.
