Ukraine's air defenders shoot down all Russian drones in overnight attack

All Shahed-type kamikaze drones launched by the Russian invaders on the night of July 5 for another air attack on Ukraine were shot down by Ukrainian Air Defense Forces over Ukraine, according to Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk, commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russia launched 32 kamikaze drones at Ukraine from the Kursk and Primorsko-Akhtarsk areas of the Russian Federation.
All of them were eliminated by Ukrainian defenders.
Ukrainian air defense work
Russia's attack was repelled by:
- fighter aircraft,
- anti-aircraft missile units of the Ukrainian Air Force,
- mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces,
- electronic warfare units.
The combat operations took place in seven regions, namely:
- Mykolaiv
- Odesa
- Kherson
- Dnipropetrovsk
- Kyiv,
- Chernihiv
- Cherkasy
