Ukraine receives next tranche under Ukraine Facility program

Ukraine has received the next tranche of aid under the Ukraine Facility program, totaling €3.5 billion ($3.79 billion), stated Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
According to Shmyhal, the funds will help Ukraine maintain macroeconomic stability.
"The European Commission has acknowledged our country's commitment to implementing reforms on the path to full EU membership. The total financial assistance under the Ukraine Facility has already reached €19.6 billion," he added.
Aid to Ukraine during the war
Ukraine Facility is a financial instrument of the European Union aimed at supporting Ukraine during the war and its post-war recovery. The program provides €50 billion for the period 2024–2027, allocated for macro-financial assistance, reconstruction, reforms, and modernization. The funds will be disbursed as grants and loans, with their use monitored through a special reporting and reform progress assessment mechanism.
It is worth noting that yesterday, March 31, Ukraine also received a $400 million support tranche from the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
