Ukraine presented 'Google Bard', chatbot based on AI: what it can do
Google Bard, an artificial intelligence-based chatbot, is now available in Ukraine, according to the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
The chatbot assists users in obtaining clear answers to their questions. Users can formulate their queries, and Bard collects the most relevant information online.
That eliminates the need for individuals to manually search for information, as Bard does it all for them.
What is Google Bard?
It is a conversational generative chatbot powered by artificial intelligence. It was developed as a direct response to the growing popularity of ChatGPT and was released in a limited capacity in March 2023.
The official Bard website describes it as a creative and helpful assistant that can help find inspiration, increase productivity, and bring ideas to life.
For instance, users can ask Bard to plan the perfect party, create an invitation design, compile a pros and cons list for decision-making, explain complex topics in simple terms, and much more.
"Bard is an experiment, so its responses may be inaccurate or inappropriate," the website states.
What can Bard do?
- Listen to responses, not just read them. That allows users to hear the correct pronunciation of words or, for example, a poem.
- Save conversation history - users can review the change history and their dialogue with Bard.
- Export Python code to Replit (in addition to Google Colab).
- Share conversations with friends. To chat with Bard, visit the link provided.
Artificial intelligence applications
On June 1, the ChatGPT app, developed by OpenAI, became available in Ukraine. It can simulate dialogue, respond to follow-up questions, recognize mistakes, challenge incorrect assumptions, and more.
Moreover, many AI-powered applications are available, such as Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Midjourney.
The launch of ChatGPT was a revolutionary step in the technology field, spurring the active development of AI products. However, along with this progress comes the risk of misinformation, and users' data may be at stake. In light of these concerns, the European Union is preparing legislation to regulate the use of AI.
