Zelenskyy confirms meeting with Trump this Friday

Ukraine is preparing for talks with the US in the coming days. They will take place on Friday, February 28, said President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in his evening address.
"There was a lot of international work today. Our teams are working with the US, and we are preparing for talks this Friday," he said.
According to Zelenskyy, guarantees of peace and security are key to ensuring that Russia no longer destroys the lives of other nations.
"I will meet with President Trump. It is important for me and for all of us in the world that US aid is not stopped. Strength is needed on the path to peace," the President added.
Trump-Zelenskyy meeting
On February 26, it was reported that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy received an invitation to the United States. Currently, offices are working on the details.
Later, Zelenskyy emphasized that a meeting with US President Donald Trump is important. He also stated that a ceasefire is impossible without security guarantees.
After the agreement on rare earth metals, Ukraine plans to sign another deal with the US, which will focus on an investment fund.
