Zelenskyy invited to US, talks on visit underway

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has received an invitation to the United States. Currently, offices are working on the details, stated Zelenskyy during a briefing.
"As for the visit. We were offered a visit, yes. But I want to understand the format and timing, and offices are working on it. There is a tentative date. President mentioned Friday. I have an important question. I really want this visit," Zelenskyy said.
According to him, for US President Donald Trump, signing a rare earth metals agreement is important, while for Ukraine, it is essential to hear from Washington that aid will not be halted.
Possible visit to the UK
"After the US, if I go there, we’ll see, I plan to visit London. And right after that, we will meet with European leaders at Keir Starmer’s (UK Prime Minister - ed.)," the President added.
Zelenskyy's visit to the US
On February 25, Trump announced that Zelenskyy would visit Washington on February 28 to sign a minerals deal. RBC-Ukraine sources reported preparations for the trip but did not disclose further details.

On February 25, the Financial Times reported that Kyiv and Washington had agreed on the details of a deal on rare earth metals. Commenting on the deal, Zelenskyy said that it could either be a great success or pass quietly.
